About Me
Born on 23rd April, 1979, into a family rooted in service, education, and integrity, I was raised with values of humility, resilience, and compassion. Though originally from Kolkata, my formative years in the North East shaped my deep appreciation for unity in diversity. A Civil Engineer with a Master’s in Structural Engineering from Jadavpur University, I began my career in academia as a Guest Faculty before transitioning into consultancy, contributing to major infrastructure projects like the Trans-Arunachal Highway. My passion for justice led me to pursue a Law degree, and alongside, I developed expertise in Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) to integrate empathy into conflict resolution. Alongside, I pursued an Executive MBA and multiple professional certifications to enhance my ability to drive impactful change across disciplines. With a multidisciplinary background in Engineering, Law, and Mediation, I am committed to bridging divides, fostering social harmony, and driving meaningful change. Now fully dedicated to public service, I strive to uplift communities, advocate for justice, and build a future rooted in fairness, transparency, and progress.

Arbitration Experience
Successfully completed a 24-hour Arbitration training program, “Professional Certificate in Commercial Arbitration (ITP-03),” conducted online from 18th to 21st January 2023 by the Indian Institute of Arbitration & Mediation (IIAM), Cochin. Subsequently, participated in several domestic commercial arbitrations, primarily serving as legal counsel and/or expert witness on behalf of either the Petitioners or Respondents.
Mediation Experience
Successfully completed the 60+ hour “IICA Certified Mediator Program (ICMP),” an online Mediation and Negotiation Training Program conducted by the Indian Institute of Corporate Affairs (IICA) under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs (MCA), Government of India, from April 29, 2024, to August 13, 2024. I have been an IICA Certified Mediator since August 13, 2024. My mediation approach encompasses Evaluative, Facilitative, and Transformative styles, with expertise spanning across Building, Civil, Commercial, Construction, Community, Design, Engineering, Family, Infrastructure, and Real Estate/Property matters.
My first engagement in a mediation-linked proceeding as an Expert arose when I was appointed as a Chartered Engineer & Structural Engineer by the Learned Mediator through the Mediation Centre, High Court at Calcutta (5, Council House Street, Kolkata – 700 001), pursuant to the Hon’ble Supreme Court’s order dated November 5, 2019, in SLP (C) Nos. 6858-6859 of 2018 (Ms. Sugam Mercantile Pvt. Ltd. Vs. Sanjay Kumar Gupta & Others). As an independent expert, I conducted an impartial structural stability assessment and submitted my findings. This court-directed mediation intervention required the synergy of engineering expertise with legal adjudication, offering deep insight into the intersection of technical proficiency and alternative dispute resolution. It not only marked my entry into mediation-linked proceedings but also strengthened my commitment to integrating specialized expertise with equitable and effective dispute resolution methodologies.
